Our goal is to promote, protect, educate and unify the Northern Kentucky horse community. The NKHN includes individual horse owners, businesses and non-profit organizations within the greater Northern Kentucky area. Created in cooperation with the UK Cooperative Extension Service, the NKHN's projects include:
- Organizing seminars, clinics, trail rides, horse shows and other equine-related events
- Protecting and expanding riding trails in our area
- Volunteering training & field support for equine abuse and rescue operations
- Assisting Northern Kentucky horse owners in becoming better horsemen
- Creating a sense of community among horse owners in our region
