I have lived in Alexandria, Kentucky, my entire life. Growing up on a farm, I was always around horses and ponies. My quarter horse, Champ, and wife Dawn’s Kentucky Mountain horse, Peaches, are a special part of our family. I have a unique hobby – carving with a chainsaw – a skill I have improved over the years. You may see my carvings at the Festival at the Lake in August, or the Wool Festival in Pendleton County.
I have been a member of the NHKN since 2007. I helped cut the trails through A. J. Jolly Park in 2009 and volunteered to be part of the work party each year, helping form and clear trails. My goal as Board Member and current Chairman of the NKHN Trail Committee is to make improvements to the trails by widening and adding signage with mileage.
